altWelcome to the Menno Valley Sound website!

We are a singing group that consists of six individuals that like to get together and make music. We perform at fundraisers, non-profit organizations, dances, dinners, seniors' homes, and we have 2 weddings under our belts. Our repetroire ranges from Gospel, Folk, Country, Classic Rock, and of course, Elvis!

We started out as a group called "The Stirling Silver Trio", but with 5 members at that time, we felt we should change our name. We were able however to justify the original name because we said we only knew 3 songs.

Our motto is, "you get what you pay for" which takes the pressure off of being perfect. Laughing

Don't worry, we all have jobs to fall back on!

Menno Valley Sound in Concert

On Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. Menno Valley Sound will be performing at Steinmann Mennonite Church (new gymnasium addition) 1316 Snyder's Road West, Baden - Not the Healing Barn in St. Agatha as noted on the poster. Get directions.

There will be a free-will offering in support of MennoHomes' -"Keep Showing the Way". Proceeds for affordable housing.

This is an event for everyone with a variety of music such as Gospel, Country, Country Gospel, Bluegrass, Rock and Roll and more!

Refreshments will be available. You are asked to bring your family (young and old) and your friends. No need to bring lawn chairs!

 

Agape Fundraiser PosterMenno Valley Sound and Valleyview Male Chorus are teaming up for a concert in support of Agape Fellowship.

You may attend this event at East Zorra Mennonite Church on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. Tax receipts are available!

Agape Fellowship is a small Mennonite church in the city of London, Ontario that serves people challenged with handicaps, substance and other abuses and poverty. They are a church-family that has been worshiping together every week for the past 40 years.

Mannheim PosterTunes and Treats

Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 7:30 Menno Valley Sound will be performing a fundraiser concert at Mannheim Mennonite Church. The proceeds will be going to Mennonite Central Committee and House of Friendship.

There will be a free-will offering with tax receipts issued.

So, come out and enjoy an evening of "Tunes and Treats" with music ranging from Country Gospel, Rock and Roll and Easy Listening.
